Calling adult volunteers!
St. Mark’s youth ministry is at a crossroads. And this ministry can be strengthened if a few adults are at a point in their lives when they answer the call to serve - and serve with - our wonderful youth. A modest investment of time each week goes a long way. In turn, adult volunteers at St. Mark’s find themselves very blessed by getting to know these youth.
There are 4 weekly opportunities available right now:
- Sunday mornings 10:45 – Noon: Relevant Small Group in the basement
- Variety: Bible lesson based on Bible series from History Channel, prayer support, throw the football, go out for brunch…
- Sunday afternoons 2:30 – 4:00: Youth Group in basement
- Wednesday evenings: 6:30 – 8:00: High School Small Group is starting up on 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month, rotating among homes
Who’s a candidate? Young adults with no kids, empty-nesters, grandparents, adults with young kids (we could work out child care), etc.
What’s required? Enjoy caring for youth, supporting them, being there for them, listening to them, serving with & learning from the Bible with them, finding out how they’re doing & what they’re doing (sports, academics, challenges).
