WOMEN OF FAITH CONFERENCE – Aug. 17-18th. Cost is $200.00 and includes hotel (we are staying at a Marriott Suite Hotel), bus, 2 t-shirts, lunch both days and breakfast. Dinner is on your own. Laura has reserved 50 seats but has to give definite answer by June 1.We have sold or have commitments for about 30 tickets so far. In addition, we are planning to invite Caritas and Embrace Richmond guests & staff. WE NEED the bus to be filled!!!! Or if you absolutely can't go, consider donating to cover the costs of our guests. BREAD OF HEAVEN MINISTRY – during the month of May, we are collecting Canned soups & stews (Brunswick Stew, Beef Stew) for our food pantry donations to Sherbourne UMC & Holy Comforter Episcopal. Donation bins are located across from the church Nursery.
FRIENDS FOR A CURE NEEDS YOUR HELP! Our team is participating in the Relay for Life event to take place on June 2, 2012. The theme this year is Movies and we need your help to collect gently used DVD/Movies to help raise money for the fight against cancer. I have placed a box in the hall near the nursery marked "Gently Used Movies/DVD's" where you can donate your items. Thanks in advance for your help!
